| Now, time to update my happenings over the last 42 days. Are you sitting down?
Saw Spirited Away. Went to ACM regionals (ECNA). Placed 3rd with team. Photos are in the gallery. Been fixing bugs in the Apache software project I've been working on. Found out we're going to ACM finals in Beverly Hills, California, in March. Yay. Rolled out new www.dune.net webpage. Saw James Bond. Started doing topcoder.com online programming tournaments. Saw Harry Potter. Beta released the engsoc online exambank. Got commiter status in the Apache software project I've been working on. Went to Sung Hon's birthday bash. Photos are in the gallery. Downloaded tons of anime. Been watching tons of anime. Bought the Plexwriter 48-24-48. Been burning CDs, fast.
Now the things that I will do, ever so shortly:
See Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers on the morning of December 18th (the company I work for decided to rent the theatre) :-). Finish workterm on December 31st. Matt's birthday next week. Buying DVD player for parents. Move back to Waterloo. Work on my next project, "the web". More details later.
Wash. Lather. Rinse. Repeat.

| Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas where applicable, everyone. I hope Santa's been good to you this year.
Last night was the typical "Christmas Eve Party at Ardant's Place", which entails about forty friends and relatives running rampant, eating, talking, and playing games. I'll post pictures, if and when I find my digital camera.

| Today was my last day of work, for my workterm. I really enjoyed work this last term. I really enjoyed our product, our project, our team, the people, the work. It's something that oddly appealed to me.
I really didn't feel like leaving today. Somehow I felt like I was being cut free, suddenly, without warning.
I move back to Waterloo on Friday. It doesn't feel like anything special. It feels like any other day. That's what school has become for me. Nothing special. Just the ordinary. |
